Visual Health Educator
Whether I am simplifying how PCSK9 lowers cholesterol or explaining the benefits of genetic testing to Parkinson’s patients, my work always starts with a story. Because I view visual communication as a language, my process for crafting a meaningful health message follows a strict, deliberate path. I always start by asking myself the core question: "Why is this significant?" From there, I do the necessary groundwork, researching the subject thoroughly and making sure I truly know my audience of patients or clinicians. By cross-pollinating ideas to find unique angles and thinking wide rather than just deep, I can look at the bigger picture to form my creative strategy. Ultimately, my approach to visual health education relies on making the complex clear through a blend of good design and storytelling, because I know my final product is only as good as my ability to connect and share.
